Update: Post-HRC speech closing out the DNC last night, I feel a little better……

Some time ago I saw a documentary on the Great White shark.  I was mesmerized by the evolutionary engineering that has turned this remarkable creature into a streamlined killing machine.  Its ability to sense vulnerable prey from miles away, all senses attuned, is overwhelming Darwinian mastery.

The Great White performs feats of  ambush, lurking below an inattentive seal or walrus, sometimes breaching into mid-air with live prey in its maw.  It does so with the cold dispatch and detachment of something alien to warm-blooded humanity.

With a few exceptions.  We have something else in our midst at this moment, on this day, at the hour and minute of the writing of this post that has we the American people in its sights.  It is the Great White Narcissist Predator that is Donald J. Trump, a wealth and power crazed lumbering billionaire covered and combed over with ursine hair, a caricature of a Hemingwayian Great White Hunter, a Zombiesque Melvillian white whale of an urbanite who has proclaimed that he wields a big stick in his pants and made other mind-numbing statements– who seems inhuman and inhumane to me i.e. (“I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and it wouldn’t stop me”).  Most stupefying of all:  I alone can save the country.  Can anyone imagine this mindset?  Isn’t this bona fide delusion that could use a good intervention? Don’t they call this “The Messiah Complex”?

In his disaffection for all creatures that surround and serve him unto satiety, his trope of self-portrayal as America’s Savior, h is self-adulation, his small-minded penchant for conquest of land and women, his misogyny and hatred of Muslims, Jews, Latinos–everyone, one thinks– he has the characteristics one would find in his subterranean counterpart, the denizen of the deep.

I felt this way yesterday about Trump, when I realized that his gift, the reason he is where he is, is that he has an indefatigable ability to detect blood in the water.  He is able to zone in on his opponent’s vulnerabilities, to kneecap him and deal the coup d’ gras to his last grasp on his failing enterprise.  He has a nose for when to strike at the heart of another country in order to own a piece of it and develop it into one of the monuments to his outrageous and insatiable ego in buying up land in Scotland for one of the giant turds on the skyline he calls Trump Towers.

He loves ownership, possession, brokers huge estates to Russian oligarchs for millions in profit– and now the bunhole wants to take over the White House–your house, my house.  Now that’s real estate.

But he couldn’t be farther from the refined, ever analytical, dignified Barack Obama, our first black president, who took out Bin Laden, supported with HRC the Libyan take-down of Khadafy which has to be a good thing besides the fact that Libya has yet to find its feet out from under that tyrant ; Obama has given this country affordable health care and innumerable reforms despite twelve years of Republican obstructionism.

He tries to say that Secretary Clinton has destabilized the Middle East.  This is the problem with a simpleton: the utter inability to grasp complexity, the utter inability to stand in someone else’s shoes and support people seeking freedom.  I dispute that HRC is a war criminal–what fighting words, you POS.

In fact, that Donald Trump has a single follower of his Sisyphean endeavor, reveals something terrifying:  that in our midst we have those blind to his true nature. Disaffected and yes, dystopian souls latching on to him like blind whelps on the milk-surge of a teat-swell. We have a fair percentage of Americans who have followed Trump and other demagogues in ramping up fear and hatred of Hillary Rodham Clinton, seeming pathological in their belief in this self-anointed, self-styled grotesque messianic but immensely dangerous buffoon.

Trump is an insensate, inchoherent sexual predator of the first order; women are ornaments for him, like an expensive suit, an accoutrement he can wear on his arm. (Melania Trump just appeared in a glossy car ad in a thong, such a sterling character and forward-thinking woman is she).   Everyone around him exists to feed his ego, to make him feel powerful, important. I am not alone in these assessments; listen to those speaking to his latest outrageous behavior on MSNBC right now.

He now has effectively begun, thanks to logic-challenged red staters and in part to disillusioned Bernie Sanders supporters– to take the United States of America into his insatiable maw in becoming the Republican party’s nominee for the presidency.  Like the Great White, he is ever amoral in his pursuit of a trophy kill.  He has no true affiliation with the common man and woman–only with what he can possess. He has no record of public service, only a record of backroom deals and of divisive, inflammatory rhetoric and thoughtless dangerous utterances but most of all, such thin skin he is not fit to be a serious candidate; he is a danger to us, not a savior.

He outdid himself today when he opened his mouth in Florida in response to  the Wikileaks’ hacks of DNC e-mails that were leaked to the press two days ago, and the credible intel that Russians are behind at least some of the hacking.  “Russia, if you can hear me, I hope you can find the 30,000 missing e-mails,” a reference to the GOP contention that Hillary Clinton did not turn over all of her e-mails on Benghazi and other issues sent on her personal server when she was Secretary of State.

The sterling beefy Gingrich tried to walk this outrageous moment back in calling it a joke.Gingrich also said people should be outraged that the Secretary of State compromised national security and not picking on Trump.  But Madame Secretary Clinton, while unthinking and overly naive in her conduction of any state business on non-secure servers, has not invited an historical enemy, a problematic world power, to cyber attack us, to sabotage the proceedings in which a democracy elects a leader.

Much will be said about whether Trump has crossed the line.  Much is being said about the lack of GOP outrage. Urging a cyber attack on the United States of America, for a candidate for the presidency, a party nominee to do so, is treasonous. For anyone in the Russian intelligence service to team up with Julian Assange in hacking into our cyber life as a country is being called by some as an act of war which in turn, is a declaration of war.

Donald Trump should be arrested for his invitation to Russia to invade us in acts of cyber terrorism.  There is no difference between training Muslim jihadists to drive big jets and launch them at skyscrapers full of other human beings,  and an invitation to Russia to commit acts of cyber-terrorism, plundering the fabric of our communication system for things to use against his own country. .

For his overt complicity with Wikileaks as a presidential nominee, he should at this time be considered an enemy of the people and a traitor to the US, jerked from his candidacy and brought to trial in federal court.

Even more expeditiously; Barack Obama should summon the same Navy Seal Team that saved Captain Phillips and took out Bin Laden to Trump Towers to put an end to this brainless, pig-eyed, out of control lump of protoplasm who is the greatest threat to our safety and integrity as a country since 9-11.

You wouldn’t want a Great White swimming in your bathtub, would you?  One that doesn’t care what he has to do to divide his own country, to alarm, terrify, terrorize and disrupt our ability to function?  A mindless, unthinking, illogical, reckless creature, at the helm of your motherland and your home?

Because today, no one is laughing at what Donald Trump said.  If you are laughing i.e. writing his behavior off as a joke, you are as stupid as he is, as low-class, as reckless and un-American as he is.  In fact, if you vote for him, you advertise yourself as a dumb-fuck, a sham, a charlatan, someone disingenuous when you declare yourself a patriot.  He needs to be taken care of the way we took care of Osama bin Laden– offed, with minimal collateral damage, by a courageous team of the finest US special forces we have, his body dumped back into the rank seas where Bin Laden was tossed overboard.

That this piece of human excrement could be Commander in Chief is so surreal as to be unbelievable.  As we chanted in Chicago in ’68 when we were marching against the US War Machine, off this pig.  Off him.  How tempting it is to exhort Reagan’s would be assassin James Hinckley, newly released  from the loony bin today , to throw all proprieties and constitutional rights to due process aside, as Trump suggests in re the Madame Secretary’s indiscretions, and do America a big favor.
